Hafnarfjordur lodge an appeal against the CoH ruling
The Court of Appeal opened legal proceedings after the Icelandic club FH Hafnarfjordur lodged an appeal against the decision of the Court of Handball. The first instance body, Court of Handball, granted the protest filed by St. Petersburg HC following the Men’s EHF Cup 2017/18 Qualification Round 2 (2nd leg) match between the two teams.
The CoH ruling cancelled the extra time result and decided that penalty throws should take place in order to define the winner and the team qualifying.
