On the way to the perfect club manager

15 people, among them club manager and former players, have successfully participated in this year’s EHF Club Management Seminar which was held in Cologne last week on the same dates as the VELUX EHF FINAL4 2016.

The principles and the future of marketing played a considerable role in the seminar’s programme, with Dr Stefan Waltzel of the Cologne Sports University talking about “The future of sport marketing” and EHF Marketing managing director David Szlezak talking about “League marketing in the future”.

Other topics, among others, included “trends in international sponsorship” and “customer relationship management in handball”.

The entire seminar lasted for three days and concluded on Saturday, 28 May. Participants included members of clubs such as Danish Team Tvis Holstebro, HC Vardar, Montpellier HB as well as the SEHA Gazprom League.

The full seminar documentation including all keynote addresses and the participants best practise examples are available for download on the EHF Activities website.
