Due to their four-goal win in Romania last weekend, the European debutants from Metzingen gave themselves a great advantage ahead of the return match in the Paul Horn Arena of Tübingen on Saturday night.

A large group of German fans was supporting Metzingen enthusiastically in Brasov and the support from the standings also plays a major part in Metzingen's expectations ahead of the second leg.

"We start from zero in Tübigen, so we aim to win that match as well and we hope for an atmosphere just as great as we experienced in Brasov," Metzingen manager Ferenc Rott told his club's website.

Metzingen may have lost the first place in the Bundesliga for the time being, but they are still close to the final of the EHF Cup in their first European season ever.

Loud and enthusiastic support from a lot of Hungarian fans played a big role, as Dunaujvarosi won the first leg in the Arena Randers 29:27. The support for the Hungarian side is not likely to be any less, when Dunaujvarosi have the home advantage on Sunday afternoon.

Randers won the Women's EHF Cup in 2010, but being two goals down before the away return match, it is a big question, if the Danish team can keep their chances of repeating that achievement after six years alive.

Furthermore, Randers did not get the best possible dress rehearsal for the match in Hungary. Wednesday evening, they met Denmark's other remaining female representative in Europe, Team Tvis Holstebro, in the first leg of the quarter-finals in the Danish championship play-offs. And in spite of playing at home, Randers lost the match against the Cup Winners' Cup semi-finalist 26:23.

On Sunday, they will have to try to revenge that defeat and the home defeat, when they enter the court in the Sport Hall of Dunaujvaros.
